Korean Yubuchobap
The traditional Korean dish known nationwide as Yubuchobap is an extremely similar dish to kimbap, which essentially is a roll with meat, vegetables and other spices. In Korea, this to-die-for dish is eaten very often as lunch.
When people first saw it, they found it strange that a type of sushi was triangular, but once they ate it, the visuals did not matter for them. People compared it to many different types of sushi known in the world, but this dish stood out, with it’s odd shape and a peculiar visual. However, it is safe to say that this dish inevitably made it’s way into the hearts of many.
The outside of the sushi is made up of fried tofu, so many vegetarians are able to eat it if no meat is added in the mixture. Often in Korea, kids in schools go on a lot of trips and their parents usually pack them kimbap, or yubuchobap because it's convenient to make. Yubuchobap is one of the most common dishes in Korea, more popular with the younger kids, due to their amazement at the shape of the food.
